King of cool
In the shade
Glares out
As the world slips by.
Walks on water
when it rains.
Stand on the plane
And evens the hill
With the jaw of an ass

                  Last Strand
                   --------------
                 On fast track I stumble
                   Where once I flew on winged feet
                   Under riots of reeling stars.
                   Delilah left one quivering hair
                   to trembles still with wintry might
